Nice to see I have such loyal friends

Well, this is quite likely going to be the last time I post here at the forum. I'm really glad to see that I've got so many loyal friends, and that they care so much about me. /ridi

Server down until further notice
Mon Dec 29, 2008 11:35 am by ChaosPersonified
Ok guys, here's what's going on. The guy I had hosting my server for me, got a virus about a week and a half ago, and ever since removing it, the server program that actually runs the server won't stay active for more than an hour or so at a time. He's tried everything to fix it and hasn't been able to. I can't run the server from home right now, and am in the process of fixing my *own* computer, …

Snow, Sleet, and Ice
Fri Dec 19, 2008 9:54 am by ChaosPersonified
Hey guys, it's me again. Wanted to stop in and let everyone know, work has gotten really busy lately, it's the prime time of year to be sick despite the holidays, and on top of that, we've been getting hit just hard enough by snow and ice to have a decent number of car accident victims being brought in too. Add on top of that, that I have a 45-minute drive to work in *good* weather (closer to an …

Server's Up but I'm not
Sat Dec 06, 2008 3:47 pm by ChaosPersonified
To let everyone know... the new server *is up*. However, each person will be responsible for contacting me to get the connection information, as it will be on a different hamachi network and a different I.P. address, and I will not be posting that information on the site in order to keep down traffic from uninvited guests. (If you would like to invite a friend, that's fine, but run it by me …

Crappy Birthday to me... :x
Mon Dec 01, 2008 7:33 am by ChaosPersonified
So, yeah.. Yesterday was my birthday.... yippee.... worst one I've had in about, 7 years or so that I know of... if not the worst ever. Was stuck at work late, til about 8:30, had to come home in the snow (it started snowing about 7 pm the night before, as I was headed to work), get home with a migraine headache from driving in snow... proceed to pass out, sleep three quarters of the day, wake up …

Frustration
Mon Nov 24, 2008 7:30 pm by ChaosPersonified
Ok, so, everyone, I'm gonna say this once, and, if you don't see it/read it/hear it, too bad. I'm tired of having to chase each person down to tell them what's going on with the server, and even more tired of people chasing me down to ask if server is up, etc.
THIS IS THE REASON I MADE A FORUM. THIS IS THE REASON I INSISTED EVERYONE JOIN THE FORUM.

Looking into server hosting
Sun Nov 23, 2008 8:21 pm by ChaosPersonified
So, after making a recent discovery, I may have found a really cheap way to get the server hosted, lol... A friend of mine apparrently has an ubercomputer that I didn't know existed (and when I say ubercomputer, I mean that I simultaneously had the private server running, and 4 different clients of *real* Flyff running, *and* two pages of Firefox, and still not a sign of lag... o.o;) and, for a …

Server restarted yet again
Wed Nov 19, 2008 12:00 am by ChaosPersonified
Server was having some issues, and, I figured it was time for an update anyway. So, server is back up and running again with a new database. The good news is, a few of the smaller glitches have been fixed. The bad news is, I have to remake everyone's accounts, and there are *new* glitches to fix. Gotta love Gala-Net, they leave their bugs behind for *everyone* to enjoy, lol. Anyway, will try to …

Sorry for unexpected downtime
Fri Nov 07, 2008 5:04 pm by ChaosPersonified
Hey guys, it's me. Just wanted to briefly stop in and tell everyone I'm sorry that I haven't been on much lately or had the server up... there's been a lot going on in my life lately, including some personal health issues, and I prolly won't be able to work on things much until some of this settles down. I'm really sorry for the inconveniences, and I'll try to keep things moving at least just a …

Summer o.,o....
Because it's about the only season you don't wish you could walk
around with your sheets because of the cold.

Re: For All Things, There Is A Season
im ganna have to say none i just prefer cold days and with climate change the weather is all messed up well if thats why the weather is messed up i blame it on that. anyways my reson for cold days is that when its cold you can make urself warm by wearing more clothes and when its hot you cant make urself cold thats my weird reson.

Re: For All Things, There Is A Season
Many people have that reason, but people fail to realise it doesn't last long .
There are only so many pairs of clothes you can wear over eachother,
and there are only so many places you can take them.
For example, my work, I *CAN NOT* work, with a jumper..
therefore I can't 'warm myself up', by wearing more clothes.
also, if you wear more clothes and it rains, it seeps through more items
making you soggier and heavier.
In other words,
I just defeated cold weather >;D!!

Re: For All Things, There Is A Season
My personal opinion on the matter.... stands thus:
Autumn owns.
First of all, for the sheer weather factor itself: it's not too hot, not too cold, less rainy than spring and summer, no snow yet, and usually just enough of a breeze to have nice, fresh air (which, even better, smells like fall leaves and straw).
Second of all, you have bright pretty colors of the fall leaves;
you have an abundance of fresh produce as all of the crops/fruits that have been growing all summer begin to get ripe: apples, pumpkins, and field corn most notably (thus their popularity for halloween decorations), but including nuts, veggies, and squash;
it's the perfect time of year for a nice warm bonfire and toasting marshmallows with friends;
it's the end of allergy season so less sneezing/runny nose/itchy eyes when you *do* spend time outside;
It means no more mowing the lawn for half a year;
It's got two of my favorite holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving;
Lower energy bills because you're not running the air conditioner anymore, but you don't quite need the heater yet;
It's the beginning of the good hunting seasons (oh how I wish I had the talent it takes to deer hunt);
It's traditionally (at least in my family) a time of harvesting and stocking up for winter: canning food from the garden, baking, freezing, and otherwise preparing a variety of different foods for use later... (and of course, you can't prepare anything without taste-testing it.... :3 );
The days are long enough to get what you need done, but short enough that it's twilight when I'm headed to work (I work nights), which puts me in a better mood for the whole night;
I can wear a light jacket instead of needing a heavy coat, like winter, but can still wear long-sleeve shirts if I choose and don't constantly sweat my rear end off, like I do in summer regardless of what I wear;
No more going out to get in the car and feeling like my face is going to melt off;
and, most importantly to me, fall has significant sentimental value for me; I don't have very many good memories as a child, but most of the ones I *do* have, happened in the fall.... including jumping in piles of leaves in the back yard, collecting piles of acorns to feed to the squirrels that nested outside of our back door, making mazes out of straw bales, and other random pointless fun things.... For me, fall meant the end of all the hard work for the year, time to sit back and enjoy the rewards of the work... no more gardening, no more farm work, just fresh healthy food the way it's intended to be. Even after I've left the farm, there is still no season that holds more satisfaction to me than fall, and knowing that for those who are still working on farms across the country, all the hard work is paying off and it's time to sit back and enjoy it.

*" AND FALL IS THE WINNNEEERRR!!!!! "*..
xDD
I'll have to try out your fall ^.~
Doesn't sound to bad o.o...
Though I'm still not sure of temperatures over there x3..
But, you make it sound so cool @.@;...
Oh and lol, people don't egg houses on Halloween do they o.O;..
That wouldn't make it very fun...
and mental note:
Halloween or no Halloween, I'm not watching a scary movie, period XD.
You make it sound so cool :3..
Can't wait to see what it's like for myself <3....
*Shall try best to not use heater* xD.
Hehe, they seem like good fall memories, but hopefully
we shall have good ones to remember in all seasons soon ^.^.....
I'm still weary of cold, extra sensitive to it X.x..
But, I hope to check out your Fall, I might just change my mind
on the season :O..
Though, only if I forget the fact that Winter is next..
Infact I might like summer more because I know Fall is coming? XD
