Server back up and running

Ok, well... I was right about what was causing the server to crash, and it's now fixed. On the downside, I have to start modding textures again from scratch, because the problem was the format I was saving the changed textures under, and to fix it I had to overwrite the textures back to the originals. (btw, if anyone here understands how to use photoshop cs3 to fix transparencies on the textures, *please* let me know, I'm confused... lol) So, I'm gonna have to start all over from the beginning on those, but that's no big deal now that I basically have *some* idea of what I'm doing.

Server is functional again, and, when I'm able to, I'll have it up as much as possible. If I'm needed, I'll be almost exclusively on the character Deity, so if you need anything from me try to pm me there first.

Other than that... I *really* want to see people discussing ideas/suggestions/modifications to the game on here, not just playing forum games, lol. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, post them on the appropriate forums for me to get a start on, I'm running low on ideas myself until I get a little bit more experience going for me.

you need to know about textures, I was only making them for 2 years
at an advanced diploma of professional computer game development, xD.

I wish I had ideas, but the problem is there really isn't all that much
to 'suggest', as unlike some private servers, you can't really code
anything in flyff anyways o.o;...

One thing I think you should start checking out though, probably
a good suggestion, is to start thinking about quests .
I know there was some information somewhere on it, though it
didn't really help it at least gave some understanding...some...
Didn't even show how to attach the quest to an npc, other than
get the npc, lol...
But, It'll give you something to think about ^^.

If you're going to try to do some quests, make some group boss quests like the lv 10-30 ones except for the higher lvs. It was really fun too do (even though the boss was extremely hard >_>).

Also, if you can edit monster spawns and land maps, you could try and make the forsaken tower into more of a minigame, where when you walk in, a whole bunch of monster spawn, after you killl them, another one spawns that drops a key that lets you go to the next level.

But the things that really need fixing in flyff are not a one person job. :/

urmm hahaha... pretty much 80% of what you just said is impossible ..
All we can do is edit what's there, we can't create a key to unlock
something lol.
And where still working on how to add monster spawns/types
and things like that.
It's a bit annoying because it's hard to know how the server reacts to our
changes.

I meant more along the lines of copy pasting that door in mars mine into the tower and just have the monster who drops the key spawn.

But Idk if u can edit land maps :/
